Honestly I had no idea about the subject until I first heard a Pieczenik interview. After that i couldn't stop reading manuals and papers on it. I find it interesting the correlations between PSYOP and civilian marketing. I also find it interesting that Dr. Steve said it used to be policy and is still supposed to be policy not to PSYOP the American People. In this day and age of technological advancements in communication more people should be aware that this is a reality in warfare and we are not the only country that utilizes these tactics. I find the subject matter fascinating and will keep posting as many links or references that I can find.

I may be wrong in this but from what I read the family is the most important aspect of an individuals belief system. So in a society where you see the breakdown of the family it becomes apparent to me that we are opening ourselves up to not only PSYOP's of a domestic nature but even foreign. But this is just me thinking.

A breakdown in family is a breakdown in values. And, yes, marketing techniques are usually second hand psyops strategies, at least the effective ones. Think game theory, urgency, inclusion, etc.
