I was hoping to actually find subjects that Steve was talking about and then answering some questions.
So much here is SPAM with people trying to push selling things or just posting junk. Seems Steve does
not use this anymore ? 2013 is when a lot was popular here, and now its Jan 2021 and only things
with Alex is on the new side.
I was stationed in Schwetzingen, West Germany from 72-75, Stratcom-Eur HQ.
Wash DC would send messages to Fort Huachuca, Arizona,
and then to Us and We forwarded it to Vietnam.
When I was done with AIT at Fort Gordon, Georgia, only 2 people went to Germany, the rest
all were sent to Vietnam. Most there were 2 year draftees that did a tour and had some time
left, and there was so many shooting up dope that it was really bad. Then then brought in
Capt Preston L Funkhouser III of Intel, and He kicked everyone out with less then honorable
discharges.
I had turned 17 at the end of Jan and joined the Army in March. Now I am almost 66 and
wow has time gone by fast. I used My GI bill and went to College and then ended up being
a IBEW Electrician for 35 years before retiring at 61.
Well that is My story, and I'm sticking to it !!!! If anyone knows of any sites
where I can find out more info about Steve, I would appreciate it as I think He
is a brilliant man who deserves much respect and I would like to know more about Him.
