Okay, First, isn't it amazing what backing off a little and giving your mind a little room can do! HOLY SMOKES! lots of posts...good for you.
Second, the Star of David...the two triangles. How did you come up with that? And isn't it interesting that in Kaballa it represents a balancing of forces?
Third...how much money are we talking on the funding? I assume there will be stages to this...what is the financial requirement for stage one? And I ask because crowd sourcing may be an answer for the funding....unless some of the more conventional sources decide to assist. But if they do, then there will be a lock on the patents of the research and humanity may not get the benefit?!
Max Keiser has started a crowd funding site. He developed the trading system being used today....sharp guy, access to funds....perhaps his crowd sourcing site could provide some assistance?

this is an interesting bit I found:
Rabbi Akiba allegedly used it as a Messianic symbol in the war of liberation conducted by Simon ben Cozeba who took on the messianic name *Bar Kochba,* which means the "son of the star."
son of the star....sun? of the star?

The Star of David Symbolizes the number 6.(Six pointed Star) - harmony between matter and spirit.One triangle represents the spiritual balance in this world and the other triangle represents the spiritual balance in the next world. The number 3 represents pure spiritual harmony.Two times three equal six.
The number three....hmmmm, wonder if there is any application to your puzzle. You are balancing 2 forces...could the number 3 be the 'key'.

I am finding this research similar to a vortex. It is deep and sucking me in. I'll give it a break for now, but it is opening up a world of information. And thank you for the reminder of advanced civilizations and the use of symbols. I even read where the idea of 'singularity' the merger of man and machine is a perversion of the true singularity. That true singularity is obtained by an alignment of energy. It is described as 'love' in some texts. But I think the word 'love' has a meaning closer to energy than what we generally think of as its meaning. If you translate it to 'open' it would be more like a 'switch'. Just a thought. And you are welcome. I have found it fascinating also.
