Yea i don't know about that site Laskar. I just saw the video and it does appear that he is very similar to the other guy that committed suicide - but then i went to the site and oh la la even bill Cosby is a crisis actor or something - i don't know. But he might just be right sometimes just by accident! I want to get more info on this - I mean this is really crazy everyone is making this guy out to be a hero - and if Dr. Steve i right - which i think he is - guy looks like he is acting and stumbling over his words - then this it one of the biggest hoaxes in a while.

Just a note that I hadn't scrolled down to read the entire post that Dr. P posted. It's interesting....something to thnk about. But whatever Snowden's motivations, he's still a hero to me, because his statements provided the catalyst for the MSM to cover the spying and its extent. Sometimes the most imperfect methods can accomplish what many carefully planned attacks cannot! And BOEHNER is the cry baby traitor!

This is no revelation that they are spying. Been told for quite some time now. I don't know why everyone is acting like this is a big revelation. I don't believe this Snowden thing at all - just doesn't feel right Anyway Mr Laskar - you are over simplifying what Dr. Steve said - it is about China more than anything -

I fully concur. It's anyones guess the true intention and who the true "intenders" are of this story from Snowden. But it's very clear there is a script and a perpetrator other than Snowden the lone boogy-man spy.

3 very clear bizarre-o-nesses

1st-- I had some doubts watching his almost prozac like interview where he was so calm and spoke so eloquently but said things that seemed adolescent as far as his ideas about what he had access to and what he could do with his key board. John R and Steve point these out well. I wont repeat.

2nd--anyone who got a chance to see his father on Fox [the Five; 6-18-13] news "plead" for his sons return home would have gotten ill. His dad did not act like a dad, nor did he talk like a dad. Im not saying it was not his dad, but again it was soooo scripted. Soooo freaking obvious it had been rehearsed and rehearsed again. Another bizarre-o interview picked for the "Fox audiences" interesting, not CNN or MSNBC

Lastly, and most bizarre is Obama's Charlie Rose interview. Obama said, The NSA can not at will and does not at will listen/record any US "person" without a warrant. So Obama is saying it doesnt happen PERIOD, which means Snowden is lying, which means Snowden hasn't committed any crimes . if Snowden CANNOT do what he claims to do then Snowden is lying. If Snowdan CAN do what he claims to do then Obama is lying.

Either way...how can the US want Snowden brought up on charges if he has not released any"documents". Thus far he has ONLY blabbed and blabbed about the amazing Snowden and the crooked NSA but hasnt revealed anything IF Obama is right and the NSA doesnt do this.

In reality...nothing has actually happened ANYWHERE but in the theater of our TV. There is no documentation or secondary witness. Its all heresay

It's really a shame that Americans can no longer trust ANYTHING their government officials say or do. I think we're at a point where we have to face the fact that a silent coupe has taken place. (This was attempted and thwarted in 1933 when Prescott Bush was part of an attempted military coupe, intended to replace the current gov't with a fascist dictatorship.)

I'm guessing, since the disclosure of the scope of NSA spy program, that real power now rests in the hands of the four start general, head of cyber command. With the ability to spy and store everything on everybody, there is no greater opportunity to use gathered information to blackmail and control whomever he chooses, whether elected officials, the supreme court or the administration.

Interestingly, information about the general's rise to power includes his West Point education, after which Donald Rumsfeld was most instrumental in advancing the general's career to the point he now has complete control of all communication. Witnessing his testimony under oath that included lies intended to mislead congress, with no charges for perjury as a result, is an indication of the extent of power he apparently holds.

Although it can be argued that the prism program is legally warranted by the FISA court, it is important to note that the basis for that warrant was claimed to be the provisions in the Patriot Act. Although the warrant was issued, it definitely included the necessity that "probable cause" of suspected criminal behavior be presented to the court prior to issuance. Yet, there is no possibility that probable cause could be presented for the billions of intercepted communications now accessed and stored on ALL AMERICANS.

Unless there is some proof that the fourth amendment in the constitution has been legally eliminated under the terms provided in the constitution, any claim to legality or constitutionality are outrageously false and misleading. But the general cleverly continues to claim that the American people won't object to loss of privacy once we are informed of the checks and balances HE, THE SELF-ESTABLISHED LIAR, employs to protect the privacy of U.S. citizens. The biggest and most important issue remains: "Who protects our private information from the General?"

It's also interesting that this issue was rejected by the voters in Great Britain, making use of the prism program illegal in that nation. A law that prevents the British government from pursuing "whistle blowers" allows British citizens a viable opportunity to be kept informed about their government, in addition, to public scrutiny of the information released by whistle blowers allowing Great Britain's citizenry to judge whether the information is credible. Since the British government was recently found to be side-stepping those laws, those responsible are currently under investigation and will face prosecution if criminal behavior is established.

Did any of us ever think that Europeans would enjoy more privacy rights than citizens in the U.S.? It appears that the war criminals of the Bush 43 Administration are still able to pull the strings, enabling the coupe that was initiated by the illegal Supreme Court ruling that APPOINTED a president, who was constitutionally required to be "elected" to continue to progress under the current administration. Due to illegal interference by his brother, Jeb Bush, in the Florida election process when he was governor, which I personally watched happen, thousands of legal votes were not counted. Failure to hold any of this accountable to constitutional law may well have been rooted in the power of blackmail with the capability of the cyber programs that have now been exposed.

On June 17th, 2013 the Supreme Court decision in the Salinas v. Texas case excised yet another part of the Bill of Rights. In a 5-4 ruling the justices ruled that a person no longer has the right to remain silent violating the constitution's fifth amendment that states that no person "shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself." No press coverage or announcement of this has been made. When was the Supreme Court legally given the authority to eliminate any part of the Bill of Rights?

The NSA spying issue is NOT about protecting the American people. It is all about CONTROL over the American people, using information illegally accessed and retained to accomplish the relinquishing of American liberty, American Sovereignty and Constitutional law, that can control our representative government, Supreme Court Justices and in all likelihood the President, as well.

Since that same four star general, chose to perjure himself, with no accountability to the law and he continues to demonstrate his lack of honesty in his remarks, the power he wields as the head of Cyber Command is frightening...and unconscionable under American law.
