The war on drugs is one of the sources of black funds for those who would enslave us. Just as you weaken and kill a tree by girdling it if all you have is an axe, we need to find ways to take down this monster with small moves that are within our means. Ironically, many Christian patriots refuse to entertain the idea of decriminalizing drugs. Their arguments seem to fall into two categories: First, drugs are evil, a sin. Second, we need to save people from addiction. So one of the elements that could be used to atrophy the enemy gets no support from the Christian community. Perhaps we need a targeted message which will address this aspect and help us end the war on drugs.

By the lack of responses to this post, am I to assume that there is no support for ending the war on drugs from this forum community? Do you disagree that the war on drugs has been a war on US and should be ended? Your thoughts?

Firecracker, your point is well taken. More than you realize, the general public would agree agree with your common sense approach to what is probably the most controversial of all issues if they knew the truth.
It's only when you recognize the forces you are up against, can you begin to understand the lack of response to your post. Americans have been so brainwashed about "drugs" that very few really "know" the truth. The U.S. media is controlled and programmed to influence opinions and proliferate whatever keeps funds flowing where they want them to.
The only thing that has been accomplished in the U.S. by criminalizing drugs (particularly hemp) is the extraordinary profit made possible by that criminalization.
There's a documentary currently available on Netflix for instant viewing that is the most informative I've ever viewed. "The Union...The Business Behind Getting High" demonstrates many facts supporting your view in so many ways, one can only hope that word about the available information in that documentary can be spread throughout the U.S.
Until accurate information is more available to the U.S. general public, through media, Americans will continue to be intentionally misled about the issues we face. Not everyone has a computer or knows how to use one. The older, more experienced, due to age, and not having been educated during the computer age, still rely on the information they get from main stream media sources.
Much of the "content" produced by corporate owned Hollywood and TV movies is distributed to influence public opinion. Dr. Pieczenik's recent TALK review of "Zero Dark Thirty" and the Ben Afleck movie is a prime demonstration of that.
The C.I.A. is the most prolific drug trafficking organization in the world. Oliver North, was deeply involved in providing funds for the Iran contras, which were illegal profits from the drug trade. And drug criminalization keeps those profits high.
Zbignew Brezinski's "The Grand Chessboard" lays out the path that we have been following. Primarily based on the depletion of energy resources, there is a struggle for control of central Asia that we are currently witnessing. His book was authored before the 9/11 attacks. The profits from drug trafficking were used to create the "Arab Spring" which is more the result of American and U.N. funding of terrorist and insurgent groups than anything else. Instability in that region creates the opportunity for those who desire world control to step in. World domination is the motivation. Drug profits fund the effort. Only time will tell what the results will be.
If the U.S. government is capable of legalizing murder by drones at the behest of a sitting U.S. president and indefinite detention without due process, legalizing drugs should be a piece of cake. The answer as to why they won't even consider it lies in where the profits go.

Topwrench, you lay out in a very cogent manner what my research confirms is the situation. When I posted the topic, I was expecting some input and perhaps discussion of ideas for turning the opinion of the mainstream zombie public. My surprise was at the lack of response from what appears to be this higher-than-average informed group. So either, the group here feels the possibility of defeating the war on drugs is nil or nearly so....or they feel this is not a priority. I appreciate your response, thanks!
