Well, one can't really explain the quote because it is a "loaded" supposition. It forces anyone speculating on it to accept the supposition that "advanced civilizations" somehow have "advanced" viewpoints (moral or otherwise) and vice-a-versa.

I don't know what it has to do with Aliens unless you presuppose that intergalactic travel (or inter-dimensional travel which is more what they do) makes them "advanced", perhaps, but not necessarily "civilized". Everything the NHE's have demonstrated is "advanced", but definitely nowhere near any definition that resembles civility.

Wow, I left our little hang out here for a few hours and returned to a thread that makes me feel like I am in a swamp barefoot and not touching bottom! Whew!
I see myself as a rock solid person. And yet, I have on 3 separate occasions seen UFO's. And since it stands for unidentified flying objects, and since I have some little tiny bit of info coming sideways from Area 51 type stuff, I know that what I can only imagine in 100 years is already here. I just don't know what it is and how long it has been here.
Now, having watched people die, having been unconscious a number of times and in an instant having my whole life flash before me, and listening to David Icke and my metaphysical friend who tells me there is nothing but now, there is no linear time, etc. I am journeying through some of the quantum physics meets metaphysical and what the heck is really going on?!
And I more or less "know" things I cannot explain or verbalize.
I started the video out of curiosity about what other human form earth dwellers THINK is happening and what they know. But as I watched, I felt a really odd sensation. It's like meeting someone you just feel compelled to see again. And I am at a stage of life where I find things both mundane (routines) and endlessly fascinating...quantum physics. And also, most of my life, I have had a lot of certainty about life, religion, etc. Now I am not constraining myself with that certainty but letting myself be child like, awed, enthralled, and endlessly questioning.
Sorry, short answer is that I wonder if the UFO's are really coming from somewhere else...and if they are...how the heck are they doing it. Is there a physical space ship, or is there just energy, and are they really not "traveling" and if they are not, why the heck are we putting astronauts at the tip of a lighted missile for heaven's sake?
It would be simplistic to say it is curiosity.
I wonder, are they taking millions of years to get here and where did they come from and how did they live long enough to make the journey. Because likely, if they are, the planet from which they came no longer exists.
Are they able to bend space and time and if so, how is it done.
Have any of our human form creatures figured out how to travel the galaxy and what have they found?
Why, given the unbelievably beautiful pictures of space, if they are able to travel the galaxy, would they want to come here. Because the pictures delivered to us from space are breathtaking, absorbing, I just don't have words for them.
So yes, intergalactic travel....very interested in that. Are we doing it, can we do it, are "others" doing it, and if so, how in the world (galaxy) is it done?? sigh
BTW, thanks for asking. And one last question? What is it that I have not thought to ask, that given our talks, you think I would really like to know? If you choose to do so, lay it on me....I am good at taking it all in, surviving, and coming back for more. I may not have heard it all, but I've covered a swath from my mother telling me I was brought here by aliens (in 1947) to we are being controlled like puppets by more advanced off world entities (the Gods of Eden)

Now here's a dumb question from nobody who knows nothing. Why, given all the force that is needed to propel something (because of the effects of gravity) isn't it simply possible to use a much smaller amount of energy to create an anti-gravity field around the rocket and minimize the amount of propulsion needed?

When a capsule is in orbit and uses its boosters to re-enter the atmosphere, it is in a zero gravity status and does not require center of gravity for stability? so how is stability established in a zero gravity state? Gravity is a cage with which we have been too familiar. Can we not free ourselves from it when necessary?
