Obama wants Sarin Proof?

Obama wants more intel on sarin gas used in Syria (which is either a hoax, or CIA supplied sarin). Is it possible Obama is weary of being set up? Is it possible there is an opposing faction in the upper echelons trying to goad Obama to walk into a trap? Another WMD scenario on the heels of his indictment?

Anyone's thoughts?
